Hole Description:
Number 1 offers a solid chance for birdie to start your round. This beautiful par 4 is a slight dogleg right that begins as you tee off across a tributary of Lake Wausau. Mature trees line either side of the fairway. A good straight drive leaves a short iron approach to a green guarded by two bunkers.

Hole Description:
Number 2 is a wonderful par 5 that winds its way along a tributary of Lake Wausau. Longer hitters should favor the right side of the fairway off the tee for a chance to go for the green in two. Make sure you stay below the hole on your approach. Water comes into play down the entire right side of this classic par 5.

Hole Description:
Number 3 is a straight away par 4 with out of bounds down the entire right side of the fairway and large pine trees down the left. A well placed fairway bunker guards the left side of the fairway off the tee. Longer hitters will try to fly the bunker on the left side of the fairway, leaving a short iron approach to this large green.

Hole Description:
A medium length dogleg left that usually plays into the wind, this wonderful par 4 offers many different options off the tee. Longer hitters may try to take their tee shot over the trees on the left side of the fairway, leaving a short chip into the green. This however is a dangerous proposition with plenty of trees to navigate. The smarter play is a drive down the middle of the fairway leaving a mid iron approach to an elevated green. Make sure you leave yourself below the hole in order to have a shot a birdie.

Hole Description:
A beautiful downhill par 3 that plays slightly shorter than its yardage. An accurate tee shot is a must as bunkers guard the front of the green. If you go long you face a very difficult pitch with the green running away from you. The correct club is a must on this par 3.

Hole Description:
Number 6 is one of the prettiest holes on the course. This long par 5 is bordered down the entire left side by Lake Wausau. The small birdhouse through the fairway should be your target off the tee, and make sure to avoid the bunkers that guard the right side of the fairway. Play for position on your second shot, leaving a short iron approach to this large green.

Hole Description:
A very fun hole that offers golfers a wide varity of options off the tee. Number 8 is very tight off the tee with a slight dog leg left closer to the green. Longer hitters can try to cut the corner to land closer to the green. The best play however is a long iron or 5 wood down the middle of the fairway. Avoid the fairway bunker guarding the right side of the fairway and you will leave yourself in position to make birdie.

Hole Description:
The second par 3 on the front offers beauty all around. Number 9 requires a tee shot across Lake Wausau to an island green with the clubhouse as a backdrop. The large green is sloped severely front to back. Proper club selection is a must as water comes into play right behind the green as well as in front.

Hole Description:
A short downhill par 4 with a slight dogleg right as you approach the green. Two large trees guard the right side of the fairway off the tee. A straight drive leaves you a short to mid-iron approach. The green is severely sloped back to front and right to left.

Hole Description:
The most difficult hole on the course from the men's tee and for good reason. The tee shot requires a carry over water to a fairway that doglegs sharply to the left. Two fairway bunkers guard the left side of the fairway, making it difficult to cut the corner. Your approach shot depends largely on pin placement. Par is a good score on this difficult hole.

Hole Description:
This short hole requires a precise tee shot to avoid the large tree that guards the right side of the fairway and the bunker that guards the far side of the fairway. Your short iron approach needs to be exact as the green will not hold shot iron approaches.

Hole Description:
This par 4 requires a tee shot that should be placed "on the right half of the right half of the fairway." This will give you an ideal angle to approach this green. The approach shot requires a carry over water and plays uphill. Take an extra club here and aim for the stick.

Hole Description:
This par 5 offers an excellent chance for birdie. Your drive should be aimed at the right edge of the bunker that guards the left side of the fairway. A solid lay up will offer a short iron approach to this large green. Take advantage of this hole because the course gets tougher over the last three holes.

Hole Description:
Number 16 is an intimidating hole off the tee. Two large bunkers guard each side of the fairway landing area. Only the longest of drives can fly the bunkers. Your approach shot should be kept short of the pin as the green is sloped severely from back to front.

Hole Description:
A very difficult par 3 due to its length. The hole plays to 226 yards from the tips and is usually into a slight breeze. Short and left is a good spot to miss the green if you must. Long or right makes this hole very difficult. Par is a great score here.

Hole Description:
Number 18 is a wonderful dogleg right finishing hole. The tee shot requires a slight fade to set yourself up for a mid to long iron approach. The green is flanked by bunkers on both sides of the green. The farther left you hit your tee shot, the farther you will have for your approach. Longer hitters may try to fly the bunker that guards the dogleg, but you have to get the ball up quickly off the tee to avoid a group of large overhanging trees that guard the corner.
