Membership Categories
Full Golf Membership
A full golf membership at Wausau Country Club entitles you, your spouse, and any dependents under the age of 25 to complete use of all facilities, including unlimited use of the golf course, practice areas, swimming pool, and dining facilities for lunch, dinner, and private parties.
Annual Dues: $8,056+tx (Food & Beverage Minimum: $175 per quarter)
Junior Golf Membership 1 (21-29)
A junior golf membership entitles you to the same privileges as a full golf member but in a different age classification (ages 21-29). A married couple may join as junior members by using the birth date of the younger member of the couple. At age 30, the membership moves to the junior membership 2 category.
Annual Dues: $4,481+tx (Food & Beverage Minimum: $175 per quarter)
Junior Golf Membership 2 (30-39)
A junior golf membership entitles you to the same privileges as a full golf member but in a different age classification (ages 30-39). A married couple may join as junior members by using the birth date of the younger member of the couple. At age 40, full golf membership applies.
Annual Dues: $5,616+tx (Food & Beverage Minimum: $175 per quarter)
Senior Golf Membership (age 72+)
A senior golf membership entitles you and your spouse to complete use of all facilities, including unlimited use of the golf course, practice areas, swimming pool, and use of the dining facilities for lunch, dinner, and private parties.
Annual Dues: $7,460+tx (Food & Beverage Minimum: $175 per quarter)
Unmarried Golf Single
A single golf membership entitles one person to complete use of all facilities, including unlimited use of the golf course, practice areas, swimming pool, and the dining facilities for lunch, dinner, and private parties.
Annual Dues: $6,923+tx (Food & Beverage Minimum: $125 per quarter)
Sports Membership
A sports membership entitles you, your spouse, and dependent children to unlimited golf before May 1st and after September 1st, but twice monthly for May, June, July, and August. It also includes unlimited use of the practice areas, swimming pool, and dining facilities for lunch, dinner, and private parties.
Annual Dues: $3,465+tx (Food & Beverage Minimum: $175 per quarter)
Corporate Golf Membership
Under this type of membership, a business can designate up to four employees for limited golf and full social privileges. The four designees are limited to eighty (80) eighteen-hole rounds of golf per season. Each designee receives his or her own member number, and his or her family is entitled to the same privileges as a full golf member.
Annual Dues: $16,114+tx (Food & Beverage Minimum: $700 per quarter)
Corporate Social Membership
This membership allows a business/corporation use of the swimming pool and
dining facilities for lunch, dinner, and private parties. Special events such as Christmas parties, all day teaching seminars or business meetings would be available at no extra charge. Each corporation is allotted one primary member
and three designees from the business to have access to the Club’s facilities. Use of the golf course and practice facilities is not included. Extra designees are available for an additional cost of $1,050 for each additional.
Annual Dues: $4,200+tx (Food & Beverage Minimum: Varies)
Full Social Plus Membership
A full social plus membership entitles you, your spouse, and dependents to limited use of the golf course and unlimited use of the swimming pool and dining facilities for lunch, dinner, and private parties. Use of the golf course is limited to after 12:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season. Use of the practice areas is available all days of the week.
Annual Dues: $3,465+tx (Food & Beverage Minimum: $175 per quarter)
Full Social Membership
A full social membership entitles you, your spouse, and dependents to unlimited use of the swimming pool and dining facilities for lunch, dinner, and private parties. Use of the golf course and practice areas is not permitted. Juniors, however, may participate in the WCC junior golf program.
Annual Dues: $1,506+tx (Food & Beverage Minimum: $125 per quarter)
Dining Social Membership
This affordable membership allows you, your spouse, and dependents to unlimited use of the dining facilities for lunch, dinner, and private parties. Use of the golf course, practice areas and pool area is not permitted.
Annual Dues: $300+tx (Food & Beverage Minimum: $125 per quarter)
All prices are subject to 5.5% Wisconsin Sales Tax.

The golf shop puts together many fun and competitive golf events throughout the year. These range from our laid-back Celebration Scramble event, welcoming new members, to our Club Championships, where the best of the best show their skills on the course.
On the social side, Wausau Country Club hosts many member events throughout the year. These events typically take place monthly and include a New Year's Celebration, Valentine's Day dinner, Fourth of July picnic, holiday brunches, Packer bus trips, cooking lessons, and more.
Aside from all of your traditional benefits are the ones with no price tag. There is a tremendous feeling of camaraderie among members at Wausau Country Club. Whether from business gained from conversations on the course to play dates arranged with another family at the pool, the Club is a community within a community that cements the bonds that lead to lifelong connections.
Golf Services
The golf course at Wausau Country Club is generally open for member play from mid-April to the first Monday in November each year, weather permitting.

Caddies
Caddies are available on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Caddies are also available Tuesdays and Thursdays if reserved in advance. Caddie services begin at $30.00 per loop. Wausau Country Club is a proud supporter of the Chick Evans Scholarship program.
Handicap Services
The Club offers handicap services through the Wisconsin State Golf Association for $35.00 per person. An established handicap is required to participate in all Club leagues and tournaments.
Mill River Program
All Wausau Country Club members have the option to join the Mill River program. Under this optional plan, all hard goods, such as golf clubs and golf balls, are sold at 10% over cost and all apparel just 20% over cost. Shipping will apply for special or rushed order items. Cost is $175.00 per year.
Lessons
Lessons are available by appointment with the Club's PGA members.
Leagues
A variety of golf leagues are available to the membership at Wausau Country Club. These include Men's League, Ladies’ League, Couples’ League, and Junior Golf.
Club Reciprocity
Wausau Country Club offers full reciprocal golf agreements with three Country Clubs within the region. These include Stevens Point Country Club, Eau Claire Golf & Country Club, and Bullseye Golf Club in Wisconsin Rapids. Use of these courses is included with a golf membership at $30 per player including a cart. Our members also enjoy social privileges at some of the finest social clubs in Wisconsin, including the Milwaukee Athletic Club, the Madison Club, the University Club of Milwaukee, and the Wisconsin Club. Food & Beverage Services
Wausau Country Club offers some of the best dining in the area. Our culinary team uses only the finest ingredients and prepares most of our dishes and sauces from scratch. The Club also offers private dining with advanced notice. Our staff of food & beverage professionals are always here to assist you in planning to make sure your function runs flawlessly from beginning to end. There is never a room rental fee for our members to use the Club for company or personal functions.
Main Dining Room (year round)
The main dining room is open from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday evenings and includes a wide variety of upscale steaks, fish, and, of course, our famous Friday night fish fry.
Turne Bar Summer Hours
The Turne Bar menu is available from 11:00am to dark, seven days a week from mid-April to mid-November and includes a wide variety of pasta dishes, sandwiches, homemade soups, and daily specials.
Turne Bar Winter Hours
From the time the course closes to the following season's opening day, the Turne Bar is open for lunch Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and includes a wide variety of pasta dishes, sandwiches, homemade soups, and daily specials.
Poolside Service
Our swimming pool is generally open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, with poolside food and beverage service available daily. We also cater large parties at the pool for any special event.
Private or Corporate Functions
Our food and beverage department is here to cater to your every wish. From business Holiday parties to small business lunches, we can do it all. The culinary team regularly customizes items based on the preferences of the event. We have an extensive banquet menu to choose from to simplify your planning. Have a favorite you don’t see? Speak with Sunshine or Chef Josh to come up with a customized menu that is sure to impress your guests.
Take Out & Catering
Both our formal dining and bar menus are available on our website to view if you would like to place a takeout order. We also cater outside events both large and small. Having an intimate gathering at your house for close family and friends? We can cater the food and bring staff to serve your group as well. Having a large event at a venue that does not provide food? Let us take care of that as well. Our food and beverage department has experience catering events off site as large as 350 people.
Special Events
The Club hosts a number of special culinary events throughout the year. This includes winter Sunday brunches, cooking classes, Easter and Mother's Day brunch, summer cookouts, and numerous charity events for the community. Information on events can be found in the Club's e-news.

Golf Course
- Monday: Open play. Throughout the season, various outside golf events may be scheduled, but membership will be notified ahead of time of these events.
- Tuesday: Ladies Day. Men and children are restricted from play until 12:00 pm. Ladies’ Twilight League begins at 5:15 pm on 9 holes.
- Wednesday: Men's Day. Ladies and children are restricted from play between the hours of 9:45 am and 5:15 pm
- Thursday: Junior Golf. Practice tee and golf course unavailable until 11:00 am. Couples’ League begins at 5:15 pm on 9 holes
